Abstract: As one of the major measures to establish a new development pattern, the advancement of high-quality development of community services is the inherent requirement to fulfill the tasks in maintaining security in six areas (see note 1) and ensuring stability on six fronts (see note 2). The advancement of high-quality development of community services boasts great significance to expand domestic consumption, enhance employment, flesh out community services system and consolidate the grassroots governance. Since the notion of community services was launched in the last century, the environment and conditions for the development of China’s community services have seen notable improvement and various service sectors have achieved major progress. But it needs to be noted that there are still some problems to be addressed. For instance, the level of social recognition is low, the development planning remains to be improved, the market supply is inadequate, the segmentation of management and services needs to be refined and the cultivation of service personnel is lagging behind social demand. In face of these issues, we need to improve the service work to meet people’s satisfaction and gain their recognition, refine the utilization of community service resources based on an overall planning, enhance service entities and enrich the supply of community services, improve the administration and service mechanism, continue pushing ahead with the data-based transformation and enforce the cultivation of personnel for community services.
