Fujian’s provincial Party Committee recently announced that Lin Gongmiao has taken over the position of secretary of the Commission for Disciplinary Inspection in the Pingtan Comprehensive Pilot Zone (PCPZ), from Huang Weiqing.

Lin has also become a member of PCPZ’s Party Working Committee.

Lin previously worked as a member of the Standing Committee of Ningde Municipal Party Committee and director of Ningde’s Municipal United Front Work Department.

Peng Jinqing, deputy secretary of the Fujian Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection, spoke highly of the work by Pingtan’s disciplinary inspection authorities, and urged them to push for mechanism reforms in order to enhance supervision and a crackdown on corruption.
