A delegation from Party and government departments of Dongshan county paid a visit to the Pingtan Comprehensive Pilot Zone in Fujian province on Jan 25 to learn about its development.

The guests, after inspecting some of Pingtan’s landmark projects, spoke highly of Pingtan’s planning and construction, which are conducive to Dongshan’s development.

Huang Shuimu, Party chief of Dongshan county, said: “Pingtan and Dongshan are two of the largest sea islands in Fujian and have a lot in common. Much of Pingtan’s development experience is an inspiration to Dongshan. Hopefully we can establish a long-term, effective communication mechanism.”
