The Ming Dynasty building, which was originally in Jiangxi province, was collected by Chen brick-by-brick and rebuilt in Taining according to its original design in 2013. The exquisite wood carved basket, located at the museum’s folk art exhibition hall, is made out of a giant log and weighs 3 metric tons. With many beautifully carved wooden objects, the museum was honored by the Chinese Folk Literature and Art Association with the title of “China’s Wood Carving Art Museum” in 2015.
