The rehearsal of the opening ceremony of the 5th National Special Olympic Games is being carried on at the provincial sports center in Fujian province, China.
The entire opening ceremony is split into four stages which are entitled as “My Dream”, “The Family”, “True Love” and “Future ahead”. Including the actors from the provincial artists institutions and groups and college students and faculties, there are approximately 5,320 people to participate in it to guarantee the success of the opening ceremony of this event.
The Special Olympic Games of China are held every four years. Under the theme of "Let's go forward together under the sun", the 5th edition will take place from September 19 to 25 in Fuzhou. And before that, the torch relay of the National Special Olympic Games has been carried out aiming to publicize the spirit of Special Olympic Games and stimulate the awareness to help the handicapped. At the same time, it is also a platform for Fuzhou to stage a show of the city and to make it known across China and even the world.
