Yanhou Village

Yanhou Village used to be a revolutionary base. Ye Fei, a predecessor of the proletarian revolution, once fought here as a guerrilla. This village was burned down three times by Kuomintang (KMT) troops. It was rebuilt by the people’s government after the founding of the People’s Republic of China. Today, several houses called “yang lou” are still preserved in the village.
