The Xiayang of Baishuiyang is as still as a mirror. As the depth of the riverbed is uneven, the sunlight refracting on it makes it look like a multi-edge crystal. The green trees on the banks give Xiayang a multicolored appearance, as well as the name "Wucai (colorful) Yang".
