City head visits Pingnan to carry out inspection

Liao Xiaojun, Party secretary of the city of Ningde, in Fujian province, encouraged Pingnan county to further develop its agricultural industry, during his inspection on May 30.

Liao said Pingnan should make use of its local advantages to accelerate development of its special industries.

He inspected several agricultural product bases where he talked with farmers to ask their opinions on how to accelerate the development of the local agriculture-based economy.

Liao said the rural cooperatives should be supported and the use of agricultural technologies must be increased to develop local agricultural brands and push forward development of local industries.

Lin also visited some industrial zones and enterprises and urged Pingnan to develop tourism.
