Fujian to promote intellectual property

Fujian province has released a plan to protect intellectual property, gmw.cn reported on Tuesday.

The Intellectual Property Strategy Plan (2015-2020) points out that Fujian should improve socialized services and explore the commercialized operations for patent purchasing and storage to establish a risk compensation mechanism for intellectual property and cultivate the patent insurance market.

It focuses on intellectual property , information services, patents and copyrights. The plan emphasizes protection of intellectual property through organization, supervision and fiscal support.

To implement the plan, Fujian will build an industrial park, establish a service platform for copyright registration and set up a mechanism for warning and protection of intellectual property.

The plan also advocates Fujian to expand international communication, and encourages enterprises to “go out” for cooperation with Taiwan in intellectual property.
