The Pingtan authorities opened a comprehensive editorial office on Wednesday, with the aim of integrating media resources so as to improve the island county's communications and promote its image.

The Common Homeland Office is a new information platform that integrates print and digital media, said Cai Lu, director of the media center in Pingtan.
