The natural environment of Pingtan, Fujian province, attracts many youngsters who come to practice kitesurfing in the summer, and the island county is seen as a perfect place to nurture future kitesurfing stars.

Kacper, from Poland, enjoyed kitesurfing in Pingtan during the National Day holidays, and he said that he also intends to watch the Kitesurfing World Cup 2013, which will take place in the Pingtan Comprehensive Pilot Zone between Oct 22 and 27

Many members of the Pingtan Kitesurfing Association - from Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou - also travel to Pingtan for kitesurfing during weekends and holidays.
