The total prize money on offer has been increased, and there will be new special sprinting prizes for the men's mountain cycling elite group and men's road cycling elite group.

A series of outdoor activities including a beach concert, equestrian activity and BMX performance held alongside the event will also add more color and excitement for spectators.

Participants will also for the first time benefit from free hotel accommodation, shuttle service and other high-quality services.

The 2017 race is also set to be the most high-profile yet, with the event scheduled to be broadcast live on both cross-Straits TV channels and mainstream online media.
