The CIGS thin film solar cell is a high-tech product with national support and is cost-efficient with high photoelectric conversion efficiency. It will be popular as a new-type solar battery and consists of copper, indium, gallium and selenium. The project will take advantage of Hechi’s abundant indium and copper resources and convenient transportation systems and has good market prospects. Total cost is put at 1 billion yuan.
