This project calls for the production of 5 million square meters of PVC pinch plates in various models and grades, on a 5-hectare site. It uses calcium carbonate powder, PVC resin, titanium dioxide, stearic acid and brightener as raw materials to produce PVC pitch plates through stirring, granulation and extrusion. The product is light, easy to install and water-, humidity-, and borer resistant and is easy to clean, safe to use, and has good sound and heat insulation.

Statistics show PVC pitch plates accounting for more than 60 percent of the suspended ceiling market, and more than 80 percent of the home decoration market. Fengshan county has an abundance of high quality calcites, with more than 94-percent calcium carbonate. It also has several calcite processing companies to ensure adequate raw materials. Total cost is put at 80 million yuan, with 55 million yuan for fixed assets and 25 million for funds.

The payback period is expected to be four and a half years, with a profit to investment ratio of 50 percent and a profit to sales ratio of 22 percent.
