Technology development and industrialization of the 150Kt/aP2O5 half wet process for phosphoric acid of Guizhou Chanhen Chemical Corporation will help fill in the blanks in the phosphoric industry, said the Guizhou Economic and Information Commission at a press conference for scientific and technological achievements promotion.
Phosphoric acid is widely used as a chemical reagent in pharmacy, food and fertilizer industries. Wet process phosphoric acid plays a very important role due to industrialized production.
Guizhou Chanhen has invested 12 million yuan ($1.96 million) in research and development of half wet phosphoric acid process technology. The development of this new technology shows that China has become a leader in wet process phosphoric acid in the world.
The half wet phosphoric acid process technology will have a profound influence on the production of phosphoric compound fertilizer, said the former director of the China Phosphoric Fertilizer Association.
Guizhou Chanhen will promote the technology both at home and abroad to facilitate sustainable development of the phosphoric chemical industry, said Wang Jiacai, general engineer of Guizhou Chanhen.
