The 4th Huangguoshu International Beer Festival will kick off on July 27 at the Huangguoshu Scenic Area in Anshun city, Guizhou province.
Scheduled to last until Aug 11, the 16-day festival will provide visitors an endless variety of beer, music, food, and plenty of fun.
The festival will be held on a 40,000-square-meter square which can accommodate up to 30,000 visitors at once.
More than 130 beer brands from around the globe will appear at the festival. Visitors will be able to taste renowned alcoholic drinks such as Snake Vonom, Imperial IPA limited edition, Saison and Russia Imperial stout.
An international music festival will be held alongside the beer festival, featuring noted Chinese folk singers and rock bands. Five hundred performers from over 10 countries will perform dance shows, fashion shows, and magic shows, said Ding Ning, an official of the organizing committee, at a news conference on July 12.
Various foods from home and abroad will be served, including grilled fish, grilled shrimp, roast chicken and many more. Other events, such as a circus performance, amusement park, and 3D performance, will also be highlights of the festival.
The Huangguoshu International Beer Festival has been held annually since 2015, and has become an important platform for promoting the scenic area, which is approximately 130 kilometers from Guiyang, to a wider world.
