In the first three quarters of this year, Guian New Area has attracted 45 new projects. Among them, 19 were projects with an investment of more than 50 million yuan ($7.21 million) and 15 projects had a total investment of over 100 million yuan.
In addition, 38 new and strong enterprises were introduced in Guian. The contracted amount of the projects was 6.208 billion yuan.
Seventeen projects were put into production, with an investment rate of 37 percent, and 18 projects were started, having an operating rate of 40 percent.
From January to September, Guian has optimized its business promotion through focusing on its mechanisms for investment promotion and looking for new ways to attract investment. The new area is always encouraging departments responsible for business attraction to make investment promotion work their first priority, concentrating on mobilizing and attracting investment from all members.
The area already boasts strong recruitment teams and is now looking to have Guian's investment teams match their success.
The new area will also integrate advantageous industrial resources and preferential policies, while strengthening research on industrial chains, industrial layouts and development trends.
For the next step, Guian will fully integrate national, provincial and new district policy resources to focus on big data, high-end equipment manufacturing, large-scale healthcare, modern agriculture, global tourism and the cultural and creative industries.
