Sun Zhigang, Secretary of the CPC Guizhou Provincial Committee
Sun was born in 1954, in the city of Xingyang, Henan province and joined the CPC in 1976. He has a PhD in economics and?began to work?in 1971. He became deputy secretary of the CPC Guizhou Provincial Committee in October 2015.
He was previously vice minister and deputy secretary of Party Leadership Group of the National Health and Family Planning Commission.
Sun now serves as the secretary of the CPC Guizhou Provincial Committee.
