Tuole Ancient Ginkgo Scenic Spot, located in Tuole village, Panzhou, Guizhou province, contains the world's largest concentration of ginkgo. The main scenic area, known as the "world living fossil base", contains 1,450 ancient ginkgos from the Quaternary glaciation. Tuole village has more than 1,200 ancient ginkgos, with a breast diameter of 50 to 150 cm and a maximum diameter of 220 cm. Most of the trees are more than 300 years old, with the oldest being more than 500 years old, and the trunk of the tree can be up to ten meters tall.
