The city of Nanyang, Henan province held a special local gala to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival on Sept 25, informed an official.

The festival was jointly organized by the publicity department of the Nanyang municipal Party committee, the municipal administration of culture, broadcasting and press and Nanyang TV station. Hundreds of performers took part in the gala and showed the local culture through dancing, singing and other traditional artistic expressions on the stage.

Comprised of 12 programs, the gala not only demonstrated the traditional culture in Nanyang but introduced the unique white wine culture in the city, which provided a cultural feast to the audiences.
