In the first quarter of this year, Xixia county, Nanyang invested a total of 7.62 billion yuan ($1.14 billion) into 46 projects currently underway.

Nanyang Vocational College is planning to build a 5D smart valley on its campus and transform classrooms into workshops to cultivate skilled personnel for high-end manufacturing.

During a research trip in the county, Zhang Wenshen, Party secretary of Nanyang city, ensured that project development would be the most important part of economic development and Xixia would accelerate the formation of new growth centers to build a solid foundation for better local socioeconomic development.

Zhang also added that local enterprises should keep a close eye on industrial development trends and equip themselves with advanced technology to further enhance their core competitiveness.
