The Wood Thrush Valley Eco-Tourism Area covers over 30 square kilometers. It is located in the south of Raoshan Mountain in Lushan county, 100 kilometers away from Pingdingshan city, Henan province.
Wood Thrush Valley includes more than 100 scenic spots. It is renowned for providing a habitat to numerous wood thrushes and its vegetation coverage rate is over 95 percent.
In Wood Thrush Valley, you can see beautiful mountains, clear water, oddly-shaped peaks, grotesque stones and graceful waterfalls. In the winter, you will see rime and frozen waterfalls, which turn the scene into a world of fairy tales.
After touring, you can eat some typical farmhouse cuisine.
