Ruzhou city received 2.32 million domestic tourists and the direct income of tourism industry reached over 97.9 million yuan in 2011. There was a year-on-year growth of 19.5 percent and 20.8 percent respectively.
In 2011, the Ruzhou municipal tourism bureau strengthened efforts to promote tourism, made full use of all sorts of opportunities to promote the tourism market and continuously upgraded the overall image of Ruzhou tourism at home and abroad.
