The Ruzhou municipal court has devised an incentive mechanism using text message commendations that was implemented on July 9. To date, 150 individuals from 10 departments have been commended.
According to the Ruzhou municipal court, outstanding individuals will be praised via texts sent to all working staff. They will be commended if they receive pennants and letters of thanks, decline bribes, work extra hours and respond to cases in a timely manner.
Every Friday the Ruzhou municipal court collects a list of good deeds from every department. The next Monday all staff members will receive a text message detailing the collected good deeds.
In addition the court keeps in touch with media and publicizes excellent work from court staff, recognizing the court’s accomplishments.
