No.1 branch tunnel of the water diversion tunnel of Sopladora Hydropower Station finished

Lately, the No.1 branch tunnel of the water diversion tunnel of Sopladora Hydropower Station has been finished in Ecuador, with the supporting system completed two days ahead of schedule.
The No.1 branch tunnel extends 335.95 meters. The project department, despite the complicated geological conditions, high safety risks, great construction difficulties, tight schedule and the communication problem with foreign staff, made concerted efforts and a careful plan, optimized the construction design, and completed the project two days ahead of schedule, laying an essential foundation for the excavation of the water diversion tunnel.
The 4.7km-long water diversion tunnel is under excavation in a well-organized fashion.
