Thanks to attractive promotions, Mulan Tianchi (Heaven pool) welcomed 13,000 visitors, a 30 percent rise from last year, on May 19. Among them, there were 2,260 tourists with free tickets and 3,256 with half-priced tickets.

These promotions brought two new features of making profits to the scenic spot. First, tourists visited Mulan Tianchi much earlier than before. Visitors regularly arrived at 9:30 am, but on that day many visitors came to the spot around 8:00 am, because the policy, "the First 300 Tickets for Free" greatly attracted the attention of tourists.

Second, the increase of return visitors made a great profit for Mulan Tianchi despite the decrease of gate receipts on that day. The scenic spot planned to release more discounted tickets and promote the scenic spot service quality to build a great reputation and draw more return visitors.
