Brick sculpture

The House consists of 5 courtyards. Around them, 16 delicate brick sculptures are on the walls, showing his life's journey. The steps along the way include reclaiming lands, building houses, raising silkworms, storing grains, entertaining friends, teaching children, opening shops, obtaining treasures, inheriting riches from Mr. Lu, sponsoring city construction projects, building bridges, trading overseas, and trade by tea-horse roads through Yunnan and Tibet.

Exhibition Hall

The exhibition hall is composed of “different opinions on his rags to riches” story, the attention paid to Shen's enterprising spirit and the “l(fā)egend of Shen's life journey”.
