Introduction

The Xingqijiu Ecological Farm is located on Yingbin Road of Kunshan's Bacheng town, near to Yangcheng Lake. It covers an area of 700 mu (46.67 hectares) and has won a national agricultural tourism award.

The farm has a small zoo, greenhouses, zones for fruit, vegetable and flowers, a nursery and garden center, areas that are ideal for barbecues and fishing, coffee houses and more.

Visitors can walk along the lake and enjoy the scenery and distinctive flowers and plants, and they can also pick quality local fruits.

The ecological dining hall covers an area of 7,000 square meters with a total investment of 20 million yuan ($3.24 million). The farm's main architectural structure is characterized by its grace, with a capacity for 800 people; the dining hall offers the cuisines of south China, Taiwan, South Korea and Japan.

The hall is surrounded by trees and flowers, which provides a dining environment in the shade. Visitors can taste the farm's organic food as they listen to the gurgling water flowing nearby.

Pick-your-own fruit zone

The pick-your-own fruit zone covers an area of more than 300 mu (20 hectares) and features a variety of vegetables and fruits.

1. January-June: strawberries, tomatoes, mulberries, pumpkins, peaches.

2. July-December: pears, grapes, papayas, muskmelons, dragon fruits, various citrus fruit.

Barbecue

The village provides wild boar, pheasant, corn, sweet potatoes and various seasonal vegetables for visitors who wish to prepare a barbecue.

Fishing

The farm has a 6.67-heactare area where it raises various fish for tourists, such as carp Mandarin fish, sea bass, catfish, and Chinese sturgeon.

Boat trip

A river covers one-seventh of the farm, and visitors can enjoy the natural beauty as they take a boat trip.

Family outings

The farm also has rare animals which visitors can feed, including sika deer, boergoats, peacocks, swans, and doves.

Cafe Romantico

The farm has two coffee shops. One has an unassuming ambiance while the other has a bucolic atmosphere, and visitors can relax and enjoy the view.
