Visitors in the town of Qiandeng can breathe in the air filled with the scent of flowers and listen to the birds chirping.

Day 1

Morning: Visit the town of Qiandeng, the reclining jade Buddha in Yanfu Temple, Guyuan Park dedicated to Gu Yanwu - who campaigned in ancient China for the ideal that every citizen should be responsible for their nation’s destiny, the Stone Street in the south Yangtze River area, and Qinfeng Tower.

Lunch: Taste the famous local Aozao noodles at lunch at Aozao Restaurant.

Afternoon: Visit Tinglin Garden, the three Kunshan treasures (Kunshan stones, wild Chinese viburnum and twin lotus flowers), and Yufeng Mountain.

Evening: Take a boat along Loujiang river, and check into a hotel in the city of Kunshan.

Day 2

Morning: Visit the town of Zhouzhuang, and see a bridge featured in the oil paintings of artist Chen Yifei.

Lunch: Wansan dishes.

Afternoon: Take a boat to see the town from the river, and go to a performance at Kunqu Opera.
