A tourism promotion for Hai'an county, Nantong city, with the theme of "Hometown of Puffer fish, Leisure Times in Hai'an" was held on June 30 in Kunshan.

Hai'an presented its tourism resources through a short movie. It offers rich tourism resources, including 13 state-level scenic spots, one rural tourism demonstration area, 22 starred hotels and 14 tourism agencies. In 2013, the county welcomed more than 2.4 million visitors, generating tourism revenue of 4 billion yuan ($649.86 million).

Also, Hai'an boasts the largest breeding base of blowfish in the world. The promotion is expected to be a significant boost for the joint development of tourism.
