Turtle Head Isle, Wuxi

Yuantouzhu Island, or "Turtle Head Isle", in Wuxi, is a popular tourist resort on Taihu Lake, China's second largest fresh water lake.

It got its name because its shape resembles a turtle's head. The Yuantouzhu Park, at the most beautiful corner of Taihu Lake, is favored by nature, combining both green hills and crystal-clear water.

It is famous for its tourism, especially during the spring season from March to April when hundreds of cherry trees start to bloom.

Fifty-eight varieties of cherry blossoms within the 200,000 square meter area, together with the glistening vast Taihu Lake fascinate throngs of visitors every year.
