The square is located at the east of Northwest Hao River, covering an area of 2.1 hectares. of the square is home to entertainment, tourism, sports, gardening, and outdoor performances.
Nantong Culture Square’s layout is a symbol of “a pearl of the Hao River”. The park’s center has a 2,000 seat outdoor stage which covers an area of 2,800 square meters. The stage is surrounded by fountains, and is capable of playing water screen movies. The surrounding area is also a good place for people to do morning exercises and dance.
The NETDA Free Trade Zone got the original go-ahead, on Jan 3, 2013, from the State Council, for a 5.29-sq-km area, in two parts.
