The municipal museum of Wuxi city is now inviting submissions for a mascot to improve its brand image, social influence and raise public popularity.

From now until April 15, any individual or organization with a flair for graphic design, brand development and promotion skills, are welcomed to submit their ideas and designs.

The museum has expressed a preference for works with a distinctive cultural identity as well as being original, artistic and practical and the design must be able to look good in both a two and three-dimensional environment.

Reviews of the entries will begin in late April with the results being announced in early May. Prize winners will receive certificates and 500 to 10,000 yuan ($1,600) in cash in June.
