The Wuxi National Hi-tech District (Xinwu District)'s life science and technology industrial cluster was recently named as the pilot zone for Jiangsu province's strategic emerging industry development project, Wuxi Daily reported.

The life science and technology industrial cluster in Xinwu District consists of an innovative zone, R&D zone, industrialization zone and Hongshan rehabilitation zone.

Over the next five years, the cluster will focus on the development of diagnostic imaging, medical high-value consumable materials, IVD (In-Vitro Diagnostics), smart health care, antineoplastic drugs, CRO (Contract Research Organization) and rehabilitation. It will also strengthen its talent attraction abilities, capital accumulation and public tech services.
