Q: Is there any parking near the start and finish points?

A: There will not be parking spaces due to road closures on the day of the event. Runners accompanied by their families and friends are suggested to take a bus or metro to reach the start or the finish point.

Q: Can I ask my friend to help pick up my bib?

A: Picking up bibs, clock chips and wristbands on behalf of others is prohibited, but gear such as waistcoats and gloves can be picked up.

Q: I can no longer take part in the race but would still like my race pack as a souvenir.

A: You can send your address, phone number and other personal information to our official email address kefu@ihuipao.com and we will mail the race pack (without bib, clock chip and wristband) to you one or two weeks after the marathon. You will be required to pay for postage.

Q: When can I download my certificate after the marathon?

A: Runners that finish the race before the track is closed can go to the marathon website (http://en.wuximarathon.ihuipao.com/) to check their times 24 hours after the race, with those ranked out of the top 20 in their category being able to download their certificate as well.

The certificate includes grades at each time point, the pistol grade and the true timing grade. If any time point grade is missed, runners will be identified as failing to finish the marathon and disqualified to be ranked or given certificates.

The final result will be announced on the event's official website five days after the marathon. If participants have any queries about the results, they can contact with the organizing committee to provide evidence. After the result showcasing period is over, the top 20 runners in both the men's and women's categories of this year's Wuxi International Marathon will be able to download their certificates from the website.

Q: What is the consequence of running on behalf of others?

A: According to the latest rules set out by the Chinese Athletics Association, faking or selling marathon qualification to others without permission is prohibited. Once found out, those breaking the rules will receive a lifetime ban from taking part in any marathon event in China.
