Yoga, a group of physical, mental, and spiritual practices originating in ancient India, gained international fame for its effectiveness in reducing physical discomfort and the risk of diseases. And June 21 has been designated as International Yoga Day since 2015 to further spread the benefits of yoga.

Yoga has been gaining in popularity in Wuxi city, with the number of participants attending yoga events increasing from around 1,000 in 2015 to around 3,000 last year.
