1, Yanbian University Hospital
Established on September 20, 1946, Yanbian University Hospital is a modern comprehensive hospital under the direct administration of the Jilin Provincial Department of Health integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research and preventive healthcare. I
n 1994, it became the first hospital in ethnic minority areas to be designed as a third-grade class-A hospital by the Ministry of Health. In 1996, it was designated as a Baby Friendly Hospital by the Ministry of Health.

2, Yanbian No.2 People's Hospital
Established in October 1964, Yanbian No.2 People's Hospital is located in Yanji city, the capital of Yanbian Korean autonomous prefecture, Jilin province. It is a second-grade class-A non-profit making comprehensive hospital integrating medical treatment, prevention, recovery, healthcare, scientific research and teaching.

3, Yanbian Korean Medicine Hospital In October 1984, the Yanbian Korean Medical Research Association was founded with 57 members. In November 1984, the Yanbian Ethnic Medicine Research Institute was established. In November 1986, the Korean Medicine Outpatient Department was founded.
In September 1987, the In-Patient Department (50 patient beds) was established upon the approval of the Planning Commission of Yanbian Prefecture. In March 1988, the Outpatient Department and the In-Patient Department were merged into the Korean Medicine Hospital affiliated with the Yanbian Ethnic Medicine Research Institute upon the approval of the commission in charge of government establishments in Yanbian Prefecture. In 1993, the Yanbian Four Image Medicine Research Institute was founded.
In 1994, the Korean Medicine Hospital affiliated with the Yanbian Ethnic Medicine Research Institute and officially changed its name to Yanbian Korean Medicine Hospital.

4, Yanbian TCM Hospital
Established in 1952, this is the only state-owned comprehensive TCM hospital in Yanji city. In 1992, the Government of Yanbian Prefecture approved the erection of the plaque "Yanbian TCM Hospital".
In 1993, it became the TCM Hospital Affiliated with the Medical School at Yanbian University upon the approval of the Government of Jilin Province. In 1988, it was designated as the teaching hospital of Changchun University of Chinese Medicine. Now, it is a designated hospital admitting patients covered by Urban Employee Medical Insurance, a designated hospital admitting patients covered by medical insurance for urban residents, a designated hospital admitting patients covered by the new rural cooperative medical system in Yanbian prefecture and Yanji city.
