Jilin: Kids have fun sledging on a cold winter day

The average temperature in Jilin city, in the central part of Jilin province, dropped to -20℃, with a grade four northwest wind.
However, it did not ruin the good mood of kids who sled their way down the city’s Binjiang Park’s slope, on January 6, 2015.
The day is called Minor Cold, which usually comes in the first half of January, the first half of the last month in the lunar calendar of China.
The word “minor" marks the beginning of the coldest period of winter.
