Grand cultural affair for Jilin

Jilin province has announced that this year's Jilin Citizen Cultural Festival will be coming soon, in June, and the Jilin Farmers Cultural Festival in August for the second year, with the goal of increasing its people's cultural awareness.
The announcement came at a June 11 press conference where the organizers said they hope this year's event can get every locality engaged, so they are trying their best to come up with better culture programs and provide a veritable feast for 27 million Jilin people.
There will be at least 1,000 activities during the Citizens Cultural Festival, which runs June – Dec, and the farmers festival, running Aug – Sept, with live dramas, free movies, and many books being donated in each village.
