Marathon kicks off in Jilin

This year's Jingyuetan Marathon in the city of Changchun, Jilin province, on Sept 12, pulled in about 2,000 participants, 200 of them from overseas, according to a Xinhua report on Sept 13.

This?is the fifth time for the city to hold the event. It has three levels – a halfway marathon for athletes from overseas, a halfway marathon for athletes from China, and a mini marathon. The halfway covers 21.09 kilometers and the mini covers 3 kilometers.
