Shanghai Shenma Brewing Ltd is a Sino-French joint venture mainly producing and selling Imperial Court wine and western liquor. Established by the French Remy Cointreau, Shanghai Food Import & Export Company and Malu Town Assets Management Company of Jiading District, Shanghai, the company has a registered capital of more than $5 million.
The company was established in 1992. Before Shenma was established, Remy Cointreau had dispatched its grape and agricultural experts to China, planting several dozen grape varieties for winemaking, building a wine brewing base in order to produce high-quality wine. Today, the grape varieties and raw wine materials for Imperial Court wine all come from the most famous brewing region in France.
Imperial Court wines are all brewed by professional Remy brewers according to traditional French brewing techniques. In addition, the advanced production lines, rational storage and strictly-trained production personnel all guarantee Imperial Court wines have authentic French taste and are the best choice for wine.
Currently, Shenma's marketing network covers the whole country. Imperial Court wine, originally designed for a few people, has become a daily drink of discerning persons.
