More than 20 residents enjoyed an eight-hour free e-car driving experience in Shanghai’s Jiading district on Sept 27.
It was an activity co-hosted by the district tourism bureau and Evcard, a new energy vehicle operation company of Shanghai International Automobile City, as part of the Anting Racecar Carnival.
The lucky participants, selected from Evcard members, can also get two tickets to the charity car race launched by One Foundation, the first private foundation in China supported by film star Jet Li.

The participants were satisfied with the test drive and some of them were considering a purchase.
With the aim to promote time-division e-car rentals, the activity will be hosted during the whole carnival and attended by more than 300 Evcard members, according to the organizer.
Jiading will launch the time-division rental model at the end of the year at the earliest. The renting spots will be set in Anting, Nanxiang and the downtown area of the district.
