In celebration of the upcoming Spring Festival, the culture and sports center in Anting town, Shanghai's Jiading district played host to a percussion music concert on Jan 17, local media reported.
The concert included 12 pieces of music, which attracted an audience of nearly 700. The performances were given by a local band that consists of a group of children aged three to 12.

Their excellent performances cheered up all the audiences and enabled them to enjoy a feast of percussion music.
The performers learned the skills at a local percussion music experience center. The center was launched by the Shanghai Percussion Association and the Anting Culture and Sports Center. It was aimed?at introducing the music to more people.
An officer with the culture and sports center said that in a bid to give young performers an opportunity to show themselves, the concert will become an annual event.
