The chest pain center at Shanghai Jiading Nanxiang Hospital gained national authentication on Nov 2, being the first national basic-level chest pain center in Shanghai.
The center, founded in June 2017, integrated high-quality medical resources in the area and has formed a set of normalized procedure.
It was in collaboration with local medical service centers including Shanghai Jiading District Central Hospital and the emergency center of the district, remarkably increasing the rescue success rate of acute myocardium infarction and reducing the death rate and disability rate.
After authentication, the hospital will push forward further construction of its chest pain department according to national standards and save more patients' lives to bring actual benefits to local residents.
