On the slope of the East Sheshan Mountain, there is a winding stone path, nearly 300 meters?long and only more than 1m wide. The path looks like a lying dragon crossing a ridge down from the west to the east.

On the two sides of the path, bamboos and ancient trees block the sky. The stone path links Zhaoqing Temple and Puzhao Temple built in the Southern Song Dynasty (AD 1127~1279) near East Sheshan Mountain. The path is the only way to the temples. The temples were destroyed in wars many times and rebuilt again afterwards.

Today, they no longer exist, but the stone path is still there. It is said that Emperor Qianlong went to Zhaoqing Temple via this path on his last southern tour. This stone path was named Dragon Riding Weir, or Ancient Path for Emperor Qianlong.
