Companies from Shanxi Province showcased their distinctive products at the opening ceremony of the 2017 China Beijing International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) on May 28.
Sun Yuejin, director of the Shanxi provincial department of commerce, lead the delegation of Shanxi enterprises, bringing the provinc's latest achievements and best products to the exhibition.
Shanxi enterprises made transactions of over 20 million yuan ($2.9 million) in 2016, with products such as paper printing, carpentry and sand ware winning great popularity among customers. This year's Shanxi pavilion attracted the attention of numerous domestic and foreign merchants and visitors.
"This is our first time to attend and exhibit many new products. Through this platform, we want more people to enjoy Shanxi products and services," said by Li Ronggang, president of the Shanxi Gongmei Group.
CIFTIS was a rare opportunity for Shanxi enterprises to demonstrate the province’s local features and products to the international market, said business hall officials.
The Shanxi delegation also attended the summit forum and other related forums.
