The seventh Shanxi Energy Saving, Environmental Protection and Low Carbon Development Expo opened in Taiyuan on Oct 26.
The three-day expo, focusing on green manufacturing and technology, aimed to improve management of domestic coal and increase the number of areas in Shanxi where it is forbidden to burn coal.
The event set aside several exhibition areas, including exhibition areas for Taiyuan international environmental protection industry, as well as areas for technology and equipment for electric heating, with more than 800 booths in total.
Some 200 companies from Beijing, Chongqing, Hebei province and Shandong province attended the expo.
