The 2017 Shanxi Yoga Championship opened in Taiyuan, capital of Shanxi province, on Nov 26, attracting 120 yoga enthusiasts from across the province.
The two-day event organized by Shanxi Aerobics Association and Shanxi Students Sports Association aimed to promote yoga as a way to build up health to more residents in Shanxi and increase the public's fitness awareness through exercise.
The 120 entries from 20 teams of cities competed with each other in five yoga events, namely men's singles, women's singles, women's doubles, mixed doubles and group competition.
