A total of 16 Shanxi companies have been exhibiting their high-tech achievements and projects and seeking fresh business opportunities at the 20th China High-tech Fair which opened in Shenzhen, South China's Guangdong province, on Nov 14.
Shanxi exhibitors brought more than 40 kinds of products from five industries, including biotechnology, environmental protection, and equipment manufacturing to the fair, displaying top technologies and products from the province, said Han Chunlin, director of Shanxi Department of Commerce.
A portable wireless ECG collector made by Shanxi Bairuisheng Technology Co drew the attention of many visitors and businesspeople at the fair. The bandage-like piece of equipment, which weighs less than 3 grams and is less than 6 millimeters thick, is used for monitoring and analyzing physiological parameters, offering a reliable platform for medical research and healthcare services.
With a theme of "Quality Growth Driven by New Development Ideas", this year's China High-tech Fair gathers advanced technologies from home and abroad with 3,356 exhibitors from 41 countries and international organizations attending the event.
