Zhang Fuming, deputy governor of Shanxi province, inspected the construction site of Dongshan campus of Shanxi University on July 3.

Zhang checked the overall planning of the project and the current progress of the construction.

He listened to reports from school officials Shi Shuai and Han Yonghong on the construction of the new campus in Dongshan, and detailed information on the construction from the site experts.

Subsequently, Zhang presided over the promotion meeting and listened to reports of the relevant issues of the project and carried out on-site coordination and resolution.

He pointed out that since the foundation of the project, a lot of work has been completed in various aspects, thanks to the support and cooperation of the relevant departments.

He stressed that all relevant units should attach great importance to the construction of Dongshan Campus of Shanxi University, and must pay close attention to the completion of demolition and relocation, and create favorable conditions for project construction.

It is necessary to listen to opinions and choose the cultural relic protection plan, scientifically organize the construction and minimize the impact on the surrounding residents, added Zhang.

Besides, Zhang mentioned that engineers and workers must implement various flood prevention measures for safe construction during the flood season and come up with a feasible plan as soon as possible to accelerate the construction of the new campus of Shanxi University.
